ROBERT CORRAO, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Rob Corrao, Chief Operating Officer, LAC Group, is responsible for hands-on leadership and oversight of business operations and development across LAC’s service lines. Mr. Corrao works in tandem with LAC’s executive team to refine operations, process, sales and marketing methodologies, and to generate new product strategy.

Mr. Corrao has 20 years of experience in information technology, strategy, operations, consulting, sales, and marketing. He is well versed in the information technology needs of both traditional and special libraries.

Prior to his arrival at LAC Group, Mr. Corrao served as president of Softlink America, Inc., where he managed the company’s efforts in North and South America. While he served in that post, the company experienced impressive annual growth. Previously, he had overseen the significant growth of Productivity Point International, a Chicago-based computer training company, where in 10 years’ time the organization grew to nearly 200 employees earnings just shy of $200 million. Following that post, Mr. Corrao joined a Chicago-based start-up ASP, transitioning to a Director position with what became one of the largest Tier-1 data centers in the United States.

An active member of his community, Mr. Corrao serves on several advisory councils, is involved with non-profit organizations, and provides ongoing support for his alma mater and the Council on International Business Development. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with degrees in both Marketing and Psychology, and concentrations in Finance and Italian.
